Research suggestion form

Anyone can make a suggestion for research for the EME programme to consider. We want to hear from you whether you are a public health professional, work in the healthcare industry or are a concerned member of the public. All suggestions received by the programme are checked by experts at the National Coordinating Centre for EME, based in Southampton. Those suggestions that are considered worthy of EME research will go through an internal prioritisation process and, if prioritised, may be advertised through the EME commissioned workstream.

The EME programme commissions clinical trials and evaluative studies, in patients, which:

  • evaluate clinical efficacy of interventions;
  • add significantly to our understanding of biological or behavioural mechanisms and processes;
  • explore new scientific or clinical principles; and
  • include the development or testing of new methodologies.

You may submit as many research suggestions as you wish. Please use a new form for each research suggestion. Please fill in your name and email address in order to help us contact you for more details if your research suggestion is taken forward, before clicking the submit button.
