Privacy

The EME programme is funded by the MRC and NIHR, with contributions from the CSO in Scotland and NISCHR in Wales and the HSC R&D, Public Health Agency in Northen Ireland. It is managed by the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC) based at the University of Southampton.

Some sections of our website may require you to provide personal information to us in order for us to provide a particular service e.g. email alerting, ordering reports, responding to queries. By providing this information you are consenting to us processing your information for the purposes for which it was provided and for any other purposes to which you may have agreed.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files passed by us to your computer's hard drive via your browser. These may be used by the NETSCC to collect information for the purposes of managing and improving the services on the website and identifying you and preparing customised pages. No information personally identifying you is contained in the cookies. You can configure most standard web browsers to refuse cookies or warn you before accepting them. However, cookies enable you to take full advantage of the NETSCC website's most innovative features.

Log files

We log your IP address which is automatically recognised by our web server. We will only collect information that is relevant to providing the service. Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. They enable us to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information or information about which other sites you have visited.

Information collected from you will not be passed to any third party without your consent, except where we are under a statutory obligation or entitled to do so by law.
