Applied Health Research on Dementia
During early 2011, the EME programme participated in the NIHR call for research on dementia.  The call extends across the translational pathway, covering the fields of cause, cure and care, including prevention. For further information on this joint programme call, please click here.

The application deadline for this funding opportunity has now passed and the applications are being processed.

The process of commissioning will be in two stages. The EME Board will consider preliminary applications at its October 2011 meeting. Applicants whose preliminary applications are shortlisted will be invited to submit a full proposal for consideration at the February 2012 Board meeting.

Please note that the PHR programme continue to be interested in receiving proposals addressing dementia in areas not otherwise well covered in our portfolio .
