Tenth EME Board Meeting - June 2011

The EME Board met for the tenth time on the 28th and 29th June 2011. Six preliminary applications were invited to submit a full proposal for consideration at the October 2011 EME Board. Four full proposals were funded, subject to changes in response to Board feedback and further clarification on specific issue raised by the Board. Five full proposals were not recommended for funding. The Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation programme is funded by the MRC and NIHR, with contributions from the CSO in Scotland and NISCHR in Wales and the HSC R&D, Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland. It is managed by the NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC) based at the University of Southampton.
